Key Responsibilities

  • Study new technologies and market tools, evaluating pros/cons and making recommendations for generative AI-driven robotic system development.

  • Design and develop physical/software modules, programs, and system components.
  • Lead robotics and automation system/software development projects for grant-funded research and direct industrial problem statements.
  • Interact with System Integrators (SI) and vendors to deploy AI-based automation systems in operational environments.
  • Develop detailed technical proposals addressing complex industry challenges, including automation and robotics.
  • Testing and validating systems/solutions developed by other team members.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation and deliver project presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering).
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and deploying industry-ready AI/ML-based robotics and automation systems or software.
  • Strong understanding of smart manufacturing automation systems (IT/OT).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
  • Good experience developing robot manipulation programs (e.g., ABB RAPID, URScript, KRL) for various industry applications.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial robot arms, cobots, and PLCs for automation system development.
  • Ability to work independently and hands-on on projects without regular supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
