Key Responsibilities
- Manage Facilities upgrade, engineering and maintenance of all UPW Plants, Industrial Wastewater Plant, Fluoride Waste Treatment Plants, Water/Wastewater reclaim system (example: Local Scrubber Reclaim LSR, Local Scrubber Reclaim Reject Recycling LSRRR) and related base build installations
- Lead and Manage Targets, objectives, tasks towards achieving Goal for Sustainability in Water and Waste (wastewater system related)
- Drive continual improvement programs targeting Quality and Reliability of systems to ensure maximum uptime and minimal impact to production.
- Train and lead the team to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective CA/PA in systematic manner
- Ensure timely response to out-of-spec conditions or any other systems interruptions that impact production and follow-up with improvement plans
- Continuously benchmark Micron and industry best practices in developing a world-class UPW/WW team
- Establish area budgets and manage all costs associated with maintenance/project activities.
- Lead and drive continual cost reduction programs for service contracts and maintenance to ensure cost effectiveness for the section to support department and site cost goals
- Establish and regularly measure current and past performance metrics for improvements and decision making
- Manage various administrative and engineering databases used to support job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities
- Lead and manage all aspects of EHS for the section and ensure compliance to EHS related regulations/procedures by section and the contractors engaged, including proactively promote team safety priorities and standards as well as follow-up on accidents and near misses to ensure safe working practices
- Collaborate with other Sections, departments and corporate groups to support common goals and projects. Support and/or lead department wide projects and programs as required (Example: Energy Efficiency, Policy Deployment etc.)
- Lead the team by providing comprehensive solutions that take into account wider implications, capturing its essential elements and accurately linking related elements.
- This may include analyzing issues from different perspectives with a goal to develop the best course of action for the team and the department
- Set and clearly communicate goals, motivate the team, oversee employee development, develop performance plans for all direct employees and conduct performance evaluations
Requirements
- Must have Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and/or Biomolecular Engineering and Environmental Engineering from a recognized institution
- Strong analytical skills, statistical process control (SPC), proficiency in Microsoft Office, excel macro, copilot, Azure, tableau
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor
