Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute complex projects involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design, ensuring designs meet Market Requirement Specifications (MRS).
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of radio-frequency components for semiconductor equipment, including high-power generators (up to 6 kW) and matching networks.
- Write detailed specifications for subsystem modules, including interfaces to the product, using systems analysis diagrams.
- Lead team evaluations of architectures and provide recommendations for optimal system solutions.
- Fabricate or modify RF components to adjust performance or enable instrumentation access.
- Instrument, characterize, and troubleshoot RF sub-systems within larger semiconductor tool environments.
- Identify and troubleshoot difficult, complex engineering problems related to serviceability and manufacturability.
- Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
Requirements
- PhD/Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with relevant RF experience.
- Strong understanding of network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, directional couplers, and other RF test equipment.
- Knowledge of circuit theory and ability to develop analytical models of RF components.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex engineering environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-starting, proactive, and resourceful individual.
