Key Responsibilities
- Process and perform integrative analysis on omics datasets, including but not limited to metagenomics, metabolomics, meta transcriptomics, and proteomics.
- Set up bioinformatics tools/workflow, and develop applications with R Shiny, Python Dash or Matlab.
- Analyze data, interpret results and plan the next step.
- Draft, submit and revise manuscript for publication.
- Perform general data and server housekeeping.
Requirements
- A PhD degree in Microbiology/Bioinformatics/Artificial Intelligence/Data Science/Computational Biology/Computer Science/Applied Mathematics.
- Strong analytical and programming skills (Python, R, Perl, or Matlab, UNIX environment).
- Broad experience with modeling, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Experience with metagenomics, meta transcriptomics, metabolomics will be a plus.
- Strong project management, written and communication skills.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience. Candidates with no experience will also be considered.
