Key Responsibilities
- Apply strong understanding of electrical and automation systems within complex products, including system interfaces, signal integration, and control architecture
- Support electrical system integration across products, sub-systems, and functional interfaces within power generation or industrial systems
- Contribute to system design and integration using Systems Engineering principles, with emphasis on electrical, controls, and automation domains
- Lead and support technical problem resolution activities, including root cause investigations, quality concerns, safety alerts, and technical change assessments
- Define, manage, and flow down system-level electrical and control requirements, ensuring traceability and verification
- Support planning and execution of product or system changes, including technical approvals and engineering investigations
- Perform technical analysis and verification to ensure electrical systems and automation solutions meet defined requirements
- Prepare and review technical documentation, standardization reports, and verification evidence
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, through clear technical discussions and presentations
- Collaborate with extended, multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, controls, mechanical, manufacturing, quality)
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or a closely related discipline
- Hands-on experience in electrical systems, automation, or control engineering, including one or more of the following: Control systems, PLCs, or industrial automation; Electrical system integration, instrumentation, or signal interfaces; Electrical panels, drives, sensors, or control architecture
- Experience working in industrial, power, automation, or complex engineered systems environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to technical investigations and system-level issues
- Ability to work across ambiguity and interface with multiple engineering disciplines
- Exposure to power generation, industrial systems, or safety-critical environments
- Experience with system verification, validation, or commissioning activities
- Knowledge of product integrity, quality, or certification frameworks
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts such as requirements flow-down, interface management, and verification
